Cleanest Fiero I’ve ever seen. 1988, swapped in 3800 supercharged V6, manual 5 speed, custom wheels, no visible rust (from the available pics at least), a little dirty on some spots, cleaned and customized interior... $15500 price tag. Oppothoughts?

The side trim looks weird painted body color. Should be black. Other than that, put some proper wheels on it and it’s pretty much the ideal Fiero.

Still not worth $15500, though.

You beat me to it. I’ll agree with most of what you said, but also that the mirrors and vent covers should still be black, too. And... maybe this isn’t “my” “ideal” Fiero.

Yeah, should have been more clear on that...CP for fiero is just a personal thing, I just have an aversion to them. Nothing against anyone who likes them, I just don’t. I think it’s just because of my age and in the upper midwest, I never remember any of them in good shape, I remember them as beat to heck, rusted out with some guy who was waay to overly proud of it for what it was. We all have them, some cars have been stigmatized by something we remember.

They fucked it up royally on the re-spray by painting the rub strip.

You never, ever paint the rub-strip. First, it looks like donkey butt since the car was designed to have its looks broken up by that black band and, second, it defeats the entire point of a rub strip if it is painted since you have to re-paint it if it ever has to do its job.
